    Below are open volunteer positions we are looking to fill. We also have opportunities for event staff and support, musicians looking to collaborate or join our support groups, and mental health therapists to facilitate and co-facilitate our therapeutic support groups. Our organization works with individuals under the age of 18 years old therefore, CORI/SORI background checks are required for volunteers. 


Fundraiser/Donation Coordinator

We are looking for a passionate, driven Fundraising/Donation Coordinator to join our volunteer-led team. This role is crucial in helping us continue to provide life-changing resources to youth in our community.

What You'll Do:

  • Community Outreach: Build and strengthen relationships with local businesses, individuals, and organizations.

  • Fundraising Event Planning: Help plan and execute exciting, impactful events that raise funds for our programs.

  • In-Kind Donations: Coordinate the collection of donations, from instruments to resources for our events and programming.

  • Networking: Work to expand and grow our network of supporters, donors, and partners to ensure the continued success of our mission.

What We're Looking For:

  • Passion for Youth Empowerment: A genuine belief in the power of music and community support to transform young lives.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to engage and inspire individuals and organizations to get involved and contribute.

  • Organizational Skills: Ability to plan and manage multiple projects, from events to outreach efforts.

  • Fundraising Experience (Preferred): Prior experience in fundraising, event planning, or community outreach is a plus, but not required.

  • Team Player: Ability to collaborate and work with a dedicated team of volunteers.


Administrative Assistant

We are currently looking for a Volunteer Administrative Assistant to help provide day-to-day administrative support to our founder, ensuring smooth operations and enhancing our ability to make a positive impact in the lives of young people.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide Administrative Support: Assist the founder with daily tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of the nonprofit.

  • Maintain Organized Systems: Create and manage a system for keeping accurate records and documents for the organization.

  • Manage Communications: Respond to emails and maintain clear communication between the founder, Board of Directors (BOD), and volunteers.

  • Schedule Meetings & Events: Help coordinate meetings, events, and activities for volunteers and staff.

  • Serve as a Liaison: Act as the main point of contact between the founder, BOD, and volunteers, ensuring all parties are on the same page.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Organizational Skills: Ability to create systems to keep records and documents neat and accessible.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Comfortable responding to emails and communicating clearly with different members of the organization.

  • Detail-Oriented: Must be able to keep track of tasks, schedules, and ensure that deadlines are met.

  • Proactive and Supportive: Ability to anticipate needs and assist where necessary to keep the nonprofit running smoothly.

  • Team Player: Works well with others, including the founder, Board of Directors, and volunteers.


Volunteer Coordinator

We’re looking for a passionate, organized Volunteer Coordinator to help us grow our team and make a bigger impact.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a central role in bringing new volunteers into the fold, coordinating their roles, and ensuring we have a strong, dedicated team to support our mission.

What You'll Do:

  • Recruit Volunteers: Conduct outreach within the community to bring on new volunteers to support our various programs and events.

  • Volunteer Onboarding: Ensure volunteers are properly vetted (including CORI checks, if applicable) and assigned to roles that best align with their skills and interests.

  • Serve as Volunteer Point Person: Be the go-to contact for all volunteers, providing guidance, support, and resources as needed.

  • Work with Leadership: Collaborate closely with the Founder and Board of Directors to ensure volunteers are effectively utilized and aligned with organizational needs.

  • Maintain Volunteer Records: Keep accurate and up-to-date records of volunteer participation, availability, and roles.

Social Media Manager

We are looking for a Social Media Manager to join our 100% volunteer-led team. This is an exciting opportunity to use your digital skills to connect with the community, raise awareness for our cause, and support the growth of our programs.

What You'll Do:

  • Create & Share Content: Develop engaging and inspiring posts to share our mission, events, and success stories across social media platforms.

  • Engage with Followers: Foster an active, supportive online community by responding to comments, messages, and sharing updates about our programs and events.

  • Marketing & Outreach: Help drive awareness of our mission by promoting events, fundraisers, and educational resources through social media channels.

  • Ensure Consistency: Maintain continuity between our social media pages and ensure our messaging reflects the latest information on programs, events, and offerings.

  • Track & Analyze Engagement: Monitor the effectiveness of social media campaigns and suggest improvements to further engage the community and expand our reach.

What We're Looking For:

  • Passion for Youth Empowerment & Music: A strong belief in the impact music can have on emotional and mental well-being.

  • Creative & Strategic Thinker: Ability to create compelling content and develop social media strategies that resonate with our audience.

  • Social Media Savvy: Experience managing social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.) with an eye for aesthetics and messaging.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to clearly communicate our mission and programs, both visually and in writing.
